Hello, I'm Sam. Here's a little website I wrote for anyone interested. It works fine without storing cookies on your device.
I don't know who you are...
but what I do have are a very particular set of skills.
See my services with the button below.
You may also check out my upcoming performances that are open to the public. See the calendar with that other button, .
Sam offers the steady harmonic foundation your band needs, with little to no rehearsal. He is experienced with sight-reading and improvising on electric bass and upright bass. He has performed in a multitude of styles and settings, not limited to classical music, reggae, Broadway, and the avant-garde. He earned his Master of Music in 2024 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Sam has taught lessons one-on-one to over forty students on electric bass
and upright bass. He has maintained growth on an individual basis with
more than fifteen students weekly, and was recognized by his students
as excellent and outstanding*.

Sam has found exceptionality in pursuing the craft of music engraving. He provides the base
necessary for a successful, fluent musical performance (or rehearsal). Sam is experienced
at transcribing from audio, transposing between instruments and/or keys, arrangement for
small to medium-size ensembles, genre-composition, and engraving electronically from
hand-written.
